Administrative / Biographical History

P. G. Miller, of Berwick-Upon-Tweed researched the history of Samuel Brown and Co., chainmakers and its successor, Brown Lenox Co. Samuel Brown and Co., chainmakers, constructed the first suspension bridge at Llandovery, Carmarthenshire. Brown Lenox Co. eventually manufactured chains for the Royal Navy and most of the world's navies and merchant fleets.
