Conditions Governing Use

A reprographics service is available to researchers. Copying will not be undertaken if there is any risk of damage to the document. Copies are supplied in accordance with the Borthwick Institute for Archives' terms and conditions for the supply of copies, and under provisions of any relevant copyright legislation. Permission to reproduce images of documents in the custody of the Borthwick Institute must be sought.

Appraisal Information

The file was weeded for duplicates by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust staff prior to deposit. Material of insufficient archival value has been removed and returned to the Trust's record store in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The SPNR, established by the Rothschild family, was the forerunner of the modern Royal Society for Wildlife Trusts and there is frequent correspondence between the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and the SPNR during the early years of the Trust's establishment.
