The Nature Reserve Management Grant was one of 11 funding schemes offered by English Nature at the time. The scheme focussed on practical projects that were of benefit to conservation, such as the purchase or hire of equipment or materials, short term employment contracts and management work on Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
