Attached is a memo, dated 12 March 1951, from the Colonial Office, London detailing the awarding of a grant of £28k towards the cost of Social Welfare Department till 1956 and the Social Development Officer, in charge of the Department, is also the Registrar of Co-operative Societies and of Credit Unions.
