Scope and Content

Manuscript letter addressed to 'Dearest old K' from 'Letitia', written c/o Mrs Lake, Sydford, Devon. The writer is delighted to hear from Gliddon, and gives her news of Devon, and of mutual friends. In reply to an earlier letter from Gliddon she says 'How jolly a hospital the 'New Women's' one sounds. I too, have heard great things of Aldrich Blake, and I'm ever so glad you had someone so capable. Isn't it ripping that your disorder was only a practically harmless tumour, and not a wretched tuberculosis gland. That really is good hearing, and makes one feel much more comfortable inside, doesn't it?'.
