Papers, 1859-[1911], of Hugh Williams, which include material relating to ecclesiastical history, especially that of the British or Celtic Church; lecture notes; addresses; hymns; sermons; and miscellaneous extracts and transcripts.

Administrative / Biographical History

Hugh Williams (1843-1911) was Vice-Principal and Professor of Church History at the Theological College, Bala. He published Christianity in Early Britain (Oxford, 1912) and was editor and translator of the works of Gildas in the 'Cymmrodorion Record Series' (1899, 1901).
