Sketches drawn during the First World War by Lieutenant Sidney Reynolds Hibbard, the volume being kept by Hibbard as a Prisoner of War at a camp at Hanoverisch Munden during 1917-1918.

Administrative / Biographical History

Sidney Reynolds Hibbard was born in 1875. He was a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Reserve during the First World War and was captured by the German Army on 1 January 1917 when flying as an observer aboard a Handley Page aircraft piloted by Flight Lieutenant Henry Connell Vereker landed due to fog at a German airfield.
