Agreement by Rev. John Garnett rector of Barmston

Scope and Content

To accept yearly from Sir Griffith Boynton, in lieu of tithes from the manor of Barmston, 10s. as tithes of manor house and windmill, 2s. out of every 20s. clear improved rent of all Sir G.B.'s lands there, and £14. 2s. for tithes of corn, hay and other tithes of the fields and petty tithes; the South Field to continue in pasture or meadow at Sir G.B.'s pleasure; and Rev. J.G. to pay overseers' rates for poor as previously paid by Rev. Boynton, late rector of Barmston. Witn. Fr. Heron
