Northern Hotels Ltd , hotels and motels, with registered offices in Edinburgh, Scotland , were certainly in existence between 1931 and 1965 . The company became a wholly owned subsidiary of United Caledonian Breweries Ltd , Glasgow and Edinburgh , in 1965 . No more is known about the company's history to date.
