Rochdale District Co-operative Association was made up of representatives from co-operatives societies in the Rochdale area. They held quarterly conferences to discuss specific subjects relating to co-operation.

The collection is open to any accredited reader, subject to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Transferred to the National Co-operative Archive from the Co-operative Union Library in 2000. The collection had been part of the Co-operative Union's Miscellaneous Minute Books collection.
