A collection of stories submitted to the publishers Serif, under the title 'The Scenic Railway and Other Selected Stories 1933-1993'. With a letter (26 January 1994) from Stephen Hayward, Serif, expressing the view that 'we just can't afford to take the risk of publishing ... in the current climate'.
