Scope and Content

Edward, Prince of Wales makes a visit to the Cymmer Colliery, Porth in 1919. He is accompanied by William North Lewis, the chairman of Insoles, and the director Tom Griffiths, together with other officials and inspectors. Note the presentation CEAG electric lamp being carried by the Prince and the leather protective skull caps.
