Scope and Content

Cost book for Treharris Power station with figures up to Jan 1947. The volume includes some loose inserts, including a note recording coal supplied to power station by Ocean and United National Collieries in May 1946, a table showing [cost of providing] electric power to Lady Windsor and Deep Navigation Collieries; and a table showing special expenditure at [Deep Navigation] power station. At time of cataloguing it was unclear whether Treharris Power station was associated with any particular colliery, it is thought that it could have been associated with Deep Navigation Colliery, but this has not been confirmed.
