Scope and Content

Register of pneumoconiosis cases, arranged by units [former colliery company names]. Within each unit is listed individual cases, which include, but are not limited to, the following information: names and addresses of workmen, date of birth, occupation, name of mine, medical board's findings, date ceased work and compensation. The entries are for cases raised 1947-1948, with annotations up until 1953.
