A set of four plans to be viewed together, showing workings from Ocean Navigation, Cwmcynon, Penrhiwceiber, Cwm-Cynon, Navigation, Deep Duffryn, Merthyr Vale and Bedlinog Collieries, with other pits also shown. The plans are also annotated with estate boundaries, identifying the interests of the following companies: Penrikiber Coal Co., Deep Navigation Co. Limited, Nixon's Navigation Co. Limited, Dowlais Iron Co., Crawshay Cyfartha Co. Limited and Hill's Plymouth Co. Limited.
