Scope and Content

Plan annotated with colliery surface details, tipping ground and unidentified estate boundaries surrounding Lewis Merthyr Navigation Collieries. The following pits have been annotated on the plan: Coedcae No.3, Bertie, Trefor, Hafod No.1, Hafod No.2 and No.1 Rhondda Levels. Colliery surface features and acreage information have been also been annotated for Lady Lewis Colliery. Additional housing between Porth and Hafod has also been drawn on the plan. The plan is dated 1903 on verso. Scale 1:2500.
