Correspondence from Oxford University Press to Barbara Leonie Picard relating to various of her published works. The letters primarily concern the publication of new editions of 'Tales of the Norse Gods' in 1993 and in 2001, but also refer to the sale of dramatic rights in 'The Faun and the Woodcutter's Daughter'; the publication of 'The Midsummer's Bride' in 1999; foreign language editions of 'The Midsummer's Bride', 'The Iliad' and 'The Odyssey'; and Picard's unsuccessful attempts to have her novel, 'The Deceivers', published by OUP. 'The Deceivers' was eventually published by Janus Publishing Company in 1999 [see file BLP/04/01/01].
