Scope and Content
Letters from publishing companies are sorted into files by company, with files arranged in alphabetical order by company name. The file of miscellaneous correspondence appears at the end of the sub-series. This roughly reflects the system of arrangement at the time of deposit, although some sorting has been done by the archivist to ensure consistency.
