Memoranda of Agreement made between John Eskrigge, cotton spinner of Farnworth and John Fielding of BOCSPA, dated 7 Feb 1881, and between Thomas Bamford, cotton spinner of Bolton and John Fielding, dated 9 February 1881, whereby the employers agreed to keep their mills working during any strike or lockout in the district, and the Association guaranteed in return to provide suitable mule spinners for these employers.
