Folder of legal cases concerning actions between the Association and its members. The cases comprise:

1. Catterall versus Grime et al[on behalf of the Association, the Amalgamation and the United Textile Factory Workers' Association] 1910. The case concerned the payment of levies to UTFWA by the Association, in apparent contravention of the "Osborne Judgement". 2. Thomas Gregson, Thomas Dugdale and Herbert Dugdale versus the Association, 1916. The case concerned three members expelled after a dispute at Richard Marsland's Carruthers Street mill, Manchester in 1914. 3. Grime and Others versus the Association, 1930-1931. The case concerned eight members at Butler Street Mill, Manchester who accepted work at Ena mills, Atherton in contravention of union rules. Ena mills had reopened under new owners, and it was customary for spinners laid-off at the mill to have first call on positions, rather than recruit spinners from other mills. The men concerned were expelled from the Association, and the case concerned the plaintiffs' appeal against that decision as unlawful. 4. Grime and Gregory versus the Association, 1934 The case concerned two spinners at Ena mill Atherton who were expelled from Association for using non-union labour as piecers.
