General correspondence: Outward

Scope and Content

Copies of letters sent by the Amalgamation relating to general subjects. The great majority of the material is duplicated in BCS1/5/1, particularly after 1930, where it is attached to the relevant correspondence received.

Arrangement

The original order has been maintained, which was alphabetical, with internal sub-divisions based on subject. In many cases, the subjects have been demarcated by subject dividers by the Association, and these labels have been retained.
