Three letters from writer Alan Hankinson, who informs Doreen Cornthwaite that he is interested in writing a biography of NCN, whose work he admires; he refers to the previous two biographies he has written, and requests advice from Cornthwaite - on whether she supports his idea, and on the whereabouts of archive material and possible individuals he might contact. He subsequently refers to: Doreen Cornthwaite's support for the project; his attempt to contact NCN's literary executor Irvine Hunt; and a discouraging letter he has received from NCN's agents David Higham Associates Ltd, who are unable to co-operate with his proposed biography because of plans already in place for another biography of NCN.
