Administrative / Biographical History
Richard B. Brayne (b 1924), MBE (1957) was educated at Sherborne School andPembroke College, Cambridge, and undertook military service, 1942-1946, aslieutenant. He began work as cadet, Tanganyika, 1948 and served as districtofficer in Tanganyika and the Tanzania Government Service, 1950-1964.
