Administrative / Biographical History

Lloyd was an ethical reformer and trade unionist. He was sometime chairman of the Association of Public Health Lay Administrative Officers and eventually became President of the National Union of Clerks. He made several attempts to become Parliamentary candidate for the Labour Party at Croydon, Leeds, Norwood, Dulwich, Hull and East Hampshire between 1921 and 1927.
