Administrative / Biographical History
Aline Hucks was the wife of Geoffrey Hucks (whom she married in 1937), administrator in Tanganyika,1931-1960, and Electoral Commissioner in British Guiana, 1963-1964, andMauritius, 1966. She worked periodically for the Education Department, and for a brief period was headmistress of an Indian schoolin Tanganyika.
