Manuscript item bound in a volume of printed pamphlets.
First line of text reads: 'While ye world was young & so innocent yt they knew not ye debauches of her age, now w[ha]t sins shee hathe layd up for her against shee came of age'. Text ends: ' ... I hold my selfe so bound in equity ... Christianity, not to resist him, & I heartily pray God to control those who not only resist but invade [?] him'.
It seems likely that this work was occasioned by the Popish Plot of 1678.
Listed in manuscript contents list on first flyleaf of the volume as:'A manuscript in Defence of Monarchy'.
