Five volumes of letters and autographs, with biographical notes and portraits, collected by Percy Noble, mainly 19th and 20th century, with an index, by Noble, to the autographs in b. 8-11. Many of the letters are addressed to Sir William Priestley, Sir Edward Ward and members of the Noble family. The collection includes a holograph fragment of 'Mrs Lirriper's lodgings', by Charles Dickens.
