Photocopied war diary of the campaign in East Africa (1916-1917), and duplicate copy; photocopied service and demobilization papers (1911-1919); manuscript recollections of First World War service in a letter to Peter Liddle (1970).

Administrative / Biographical History

Percy E. Tozer, born in 1893, enlisted in 1911. He served as a Gunner with the Royal Garrison Artillery during the First World War and was active in the East Africa campaign.

The papers were placed in the Collection by Mr Percy Tozer in ca. 1970. Letter of donation included with material.
