Scope and Content

Having ascertained by an inquisition of men of the neighbourhood of Sywardeby that William son of Robert de Sywardeby was of full age, he has restored to him, at the instance of Sir Walter de Boketon 'mei amici', all lands & tenements in his custody of the gift of Sir Nicholas de Menil. Seal, heater shaped, 2 forearms with hands clasped above a lion passant, 'PRANCELECTECECREDE'. All Saints, 12 Ed.
