This is the German-language script of a radio programme about the north London district of Golder's Green, an area of the city noted for its large Jewish population, and where the author had lived for 18 years. The script is interspersed with extracts from the writing of John Betjeman, particularly from the text he wrote for television, "Thank God it's Sunday". The text has a handwritten title page, marked "für Hanne mit allen guten Wünschen und Grüßen, 15.7. 1973, Heinrich Wiedemann" ("for Hannah with all good wishes"). It is not known whether the programme was actually broadcast by the BBC's German, or whether Hannah Nobert-Miller was involved in any such programme.
