This file contains 10 black and white portrait photographs of Martin Miller [MM], in some cases in the character of a role he was performing in the theatre. It includes, for example, a photograph of him as Anton Seiler in Leonhard Frank's "Die Ursache" at the Stadttheater in Reichenberg (Liberec), Czechoslovakia, in April 1931; as Wilhelm Voigt in Carl Zuckmayer's "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" at the Stadttheater in Aussig (Ústí nad Labem), Czechoslovakia, in 1931; and as Inspector Hannen in "Untergrundexpress", an adaptation of Eva Flint and Martha Madison's 'Subway Express' at the Stadttheater in Aussig (Ústí nad Labem), Czechoslovakia, in 1932. One of the photographs is marked with MM's name and his 1940-1945/6 London address; it may have been prepared to give to casting agents.
