From Bristol to Joseph Murlin in Burslem. Murlin’s letter arrived today with the tenpounds, being the interest on Norton Chapel to April 11 1821.
Aver was pleased to hear of Murlin’s prosperity and that it still continues to a degree.
The Methodist people here have been generally well. They lost about one hundred members in thefirst two quarters of the year but have more than made up this loss on the last two quarters.
Aver will visit Chester on his way to Manchester [to attend Conference] and his calling atBurslem on his way back will depend on how much time he has available.
His wife [Betsy] joins in sending love.
