Correspondence concerning Beard's poor health and his resignation as Principal of the College. Includes letter from William Gaskell, regretting his departure and pointing out that, at the request of the Committee, he had accepted the post of Principal. Also routine letters concerning subscriptions, and letter from Samuel Sharpe to Beard which, among other things, commends him for honouring Priestley commenting on divisions among Unitarians.
