Scope and Content

In the matter of the ancient chapel of Toxteth Park (Manchester: 1860). Relates to a judgement at the County Court Liverpool on 18 January 1860 denying Unitarians access to funds because their representatives did not fit the definition of a suitable Protestant minister (professing the doctrinal articles of the church of England etc.).
