Letter

Scope and Content

From Rob [?] Hegwood to F. Baker. Hegwood writes that he was mortified to find out yesterday was taken up by the Bradford Bill which rendered unnecessary his leaving home and makes it impossible for him to attend the Provincial. He has written to Mr. Whitehead with proceedings concerning the Widow's fund and asks Baker if he will take charge of the books. He mentions a proposal made to himself that he would rather not accept.

Dated at London.
