From Josh Brook [?] to Rev. Baker. Brook writes that the petition and Baker's favour were placed in his hand yesterday and he had the honour to present them to the House of Commons this evening. He writes that it is of the upmost importance that those denominations denied the advantage of such national institutions as the universities of Oxford and Cambridge should urge their claims. He thinks that the government will not at this time change the system in any way. He agrees with Baker that giving corporations control over water and other services is wrong.
