Morgan Jones (1885-1939) was born at Gelligar, Glamorgan, South Wales. A conscientious objector and member of the National Committee of the No-Conscription Fellowship, he was imprisoned during the First World War from 14 Apr. 1916 until 2 Aug. 1919. Later he became the Labour Member of Parliament for Caerphilly.
