Letter telling David how sorry he was not to have much opportunity to speak with him, however, he was glad to be present at the gathering at Mirehouse. Nicholson remarks that it was a special surprise to meet Pippa's daughter, Vicky, and her two grandchildren. He asks David if he saw this week's The Listener it is going to print a sequel to his first Halley's Comet poem, which was also broadcast on Radio Four's Kaleidoscopea fortnight ago. He tells David that it was read and recorded in Millom. He writes that he has not seen Peggy since their return to Millom, however, they hope to go out to a concert at Rosehill on Friday. He queries why he has had only one reading engagement so far, for the year.
