His son Wm. eventually purchased Wynn Hall from his other brothers and sisters. J K did not reside at Wynn Hall himself, as his father lived there. Rather, his home was at Whitchurch, Salop], compiled on a voyage aboard the "Hope" to America, where he journeyed in disillusion with Britain ("that land which was once named the land of Liberty"...where "moderate" men are obliged to leave their native land, and seek one more friendly to the Friends of Liberty"), and whence he returned in January 1797
