Family albums

Scope and Content

A series of 18 albums, mainly arranged by Liana Burgess, which record Burgess's personal and professional life in the UK and beyond, including book-signings and Burgess with film-crews in Manchester, Monaco, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Liana was interested in the art of photography itself and the albums contain not only family photographs, but also collages of street-scenes, objects, and scenery.

Several of the albums contain brief annotations by Liana and/or Burgess, e.g. indicating the location photographed.
