This series mainly contains papers relating to volume two (the anthology) of Burgess's literary history.

Administrative / Biographical History

Burgess's two volume history of British and American literature was first published in Milan by Tramontana in 1979. Volume 1 is a literary history from the fall of the Roman Empire in Britain to the present day, and volume 2 is an accompanying anthology from the earliest recorded poetry to the most recently published prose.
