Ts drafts of Graves's lecture given to the Hillel Foundation in London on 23 October 1961, and also to the Oxford University Critical Society. Graves draws on his work with Raphael Patai to discuss the Hebrew myths which can be found in the Bible, Talmud and Haggada, in conjunction with Greek mythology and ancient matriarchal societies.
