This file contains ms and ts drafts of Graves's lecture 'The Personal Muse', the third of his 1961 Oxford addresses and later published. Drafts may have been prepared for publication. The lecture discusses the role of the muse in poetic inspiration, mythology, 'The White Goddess', and the love poetry of the Tudor poets, Wyatt, Donne and Raleigh.
