Scope and Content

Marriage Settlement, 22 May 1855:

(i) Roger Jones of Caegroes, Llanrhydd, co. Denbigh, gent.

(ii) Rev. John William Welsh of Birkenhead, co. Chester, clerk.

(iii) Cordelia Jones of Cae Groes, daughter of (i), spinster.

(iv) Edward Roberts of Seacombe, near Birkenhead, clerk, and John Davies of Llainwen, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, co. Denbigh, gent.

Agreement by (i) to pay (iv) the sum of £800 to uses (specified) and (ii) to assign his household goods to (iv) to uses (specified) in consideration of £200 paid to (ii) before the marriage.

Consideration: intended marriage of (ii) and (iii).

Appointment (Cancelled), 17 Nov 1887:

(i) The above John William Welsh, now of St. Aidan's Vicarage, Great Mersey Street, Liverpool, and Cordelia his wife.

(ii) The above Edward Roberts, now of Bunbury Rectory, Tarporley, co. Chester.

(iii) John Davies of Brynyparc, Denbigh, co. Denbig+E1031h, gent.

Appointment of (iii) as new trustee of the above settlement in place of (ii).

Appointment, 24 Jul 1888:

(i) The above John William Welsh and Cordelia his wife.

(ii) Isabella Roberts of Broughton Lodge, Chester, spinster and Henry Moss of Chester, gent.

(iii) John Davies of Bryn-y-parc, Denbigh, co. Denbigh, gent., and Thomas Bellis of Vale Street, Denbigh.

Appointment of (iii) as new trustees of the above settlement.

Appointment, 13 Oct 1918:

(i) Richard Farmer of Chester, solicitor and Percy Wright Brundrit of Ruthin, co. Denbigh, solicitor.

(ii) The said Percy Wright Brundrit and Kate Reed Jones of Oakdene, Penyffordd, near Chester, widow.

Appointment of (ii) as trustees of the above settlement.
