The volume is arranged firstly alphabetically by patient name and then by admission number. Contains details of number in order of admission, name, date of admission, if discharged whether recovered, relieved or not improved, if died, date of discharge or death, whether removed on trial, union chargeable to, name and place of abode of nearest known relative. Includes details of criminal, service, and out of county patients. The covering date reflects the dates of admission. As the volume is arranged alphabetically not chronologically the covering date given is approximate.
