Each page contains debits and credits for an account and includes column headings entitled: date, folio of minute book, folio of corresponding credit, corresponding credit and items, totals, folio of corresponding debit, and corresponding debit and items. This volume contains various accounts including: salaries and wages account, provisions account, surgery and expenses account, union accounts, maintenance account, water supply account, Christmas gifts account, private patients account which includes names of patients and the amount they are paying, and Ablett Fund Account. For a complete list of accounts included in this ledger see the typed index in front of volume. Page 100 to 103 includes a balance sheet, signed and authorised by the district auditor. Also includes a list of sundry credits on page 104.
