Wootton is a large parish located just north of Woodstock. The records in this collection were originally deposited at the Bodleian Library and were transferred to Oxfordshire Archives in the 1980s. Two further accessions (2784 and 4394) were deposited in 1988 and 1998 respectively. The collection was fully recatalogued in December 2003 by Hannah Jones. A full concordance of old and new references is given at the end of the catalogue.
