Estate Records: Hungate Estates

Scope and Content

This and the following numbered sections (E9-11) concern the running of estates for others either as trustee or executor and are thus separate from the Gascoigne's lands.

Sir Edward Gascoigne acted as Committee for the estates of Sir Charles Hungate, his uncle by marriage, from 1724-1749 when Sir Charles died. The papers in this group include a copy of the Chancellor's report, 1722, rentals and accounts of the estate 1724-1750 and executorship papers. (Loose)
