A volume containing a list of the baronage created from the conquest down to the reign of James I. Compiled perhaps by one 'Old Barnard' whom Richard Gascoigne counted 'illitrate ... he was my frend', the arms added by Henry Lilly, Rouge Croix, (Rouge Rose 1634) who also had the present binding done; and later in the possession of Gascoigne who annotated and indexed the text about Mar. 1646. ff.286.
