including settlements 1375-1781, wills and inquisitions post mortem 1419-1863, grants of arms and titles c1626-1810, inventories 1557-1869; Antiquarian and literary papers, chiefly the work of Sir John Gascoigne 1st Bart, Richard Gascoigne, Sir Edward Gascoigne 6th Bart 17-18 cent, including genealogical notes, pedigrees and diaries of Sir Edward Gascoigne 1721-1750; Hungate family of Huddleston Hall papers 17-18 cent.

In this section will be found not only the main marriage settlements of the family but also dealings in personal property, stock and legacies, grants of annuities and other conveyances which do not concern title to land, as scheduled in section WYL115/D. Included are references to copies of family settlements in the Chartulary (WYL115/DG/1) and in Richard Gascoigne's Genealogical history of the family (WYL115/F5/1).
